After School Programs at MCS

Mueller Charter School has created a high-energy learning program that combines both indoor and outdoor learning experiences. If you are looking for a safe, fun, educational AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM to engage your children between the “critical hours” of 3:00 to 6:00… this is the one!

Your child will have an opportunity to choose from multiple ENRICHMENT and FITNESS activities, from Legos, Chess, Guitar and Photography to Sports, Fitness, Dance and Yoga.

Program cost:  $50.00 per 6-week session.

STRETCH

Now in its 14th year at Mueller Charter School, this is a YMCA program funded by a local grant.  Students participate in after school reading and homework time, as well as art, outdoor games and activities.

Program cost:  None

Space Available?  No.  Waiting List only.

Mustangs Athletics: Competitive Teams

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mueller Charter School fields multiple teams after school.  In addition, there is cheer leading and cross country for students interested in competing in community running events ( 5K’s, “Race for Literacy”, “Kid’s Rock and Roll Marathon”, etc.)

The Computer Lab

Our computer lab is open Monday through Thursday until 4:00 pm.  Students are welcome to come into the lab and work on research projects, school assignments, or any of of our high-powered education software programs:

• Read Naturally

• Accelerated Math and Accelerated Reading

• SuccessMaker

• Imagine Learning

• Compass Learning

 

Closed Campus

Mueller Charter School has a closed campus from 8:00 am until 6:00 at night.  No students will be permitted on campus in an unsupervised program.  After school, students who are not in a supervised program, will be expected to wait for their ride at the lunch tables (under the blue pavilion).
